MAP Policy
Minimum Advertised Price Policy (“MAP Policy”)
In order to maintain and enhance the brand image of its products, Kids Ride Shotgun Limited (The Vendor) have unilaterally adopted minimum advertised price standards for products sold by US retailers.
This new updated Minimum Advertised Price Policy (“MAP Policy”) will become effective on 1st December, 2023 and will apply as below.
Minimum advertised price:
Under this MAP Policy, retailers (including, but not limited to, retailers selling in-store or online) that advertise in media advertising, in catalogs, or on Internet sites, are prohibited from advertising products at prices below the Minimum Advertised Prices (the “MAP Prices”) from product and price list on the following page.
The following actions will be taken against retailers that violate this MAP Policy:
1. Upon the first violation of the MAP Policy being recorded by the Vendor, the violating retailer will be sent a communication by the Vendor detailing the violation in question and re-stating the terms of this MAP Policy. Failure to conform within five (5) business days will be considered a 2nd violation.
2. Upon the second violation of the MAP Policy and within 24 hours of being notified of this fact, Vendor will suspend shipments to the violating Retailer for a period of three (3) months. Failure to conform within five (5) business days will be considered a 3rd violation.
3. Upon a third violation of the MAP Policy, and within 24 hours of being notified of this fact by the Vendor, sales to the Retailer in question will be discontinued.
