The YouDrop FF gives kids the confidence to take on real trails. With a removable chin guard for when things get rowdy and the option to strip it back to an open face helmet for everyday rides. The removable chin guard provides extra coverage when it counts.
Whether they’re finding their feet on a balance bike or chasing you down the trail, the Youdrop is made to keep them comfortable and protected. A clever ventilation system provides plenty of airflow to keep things cool on the climbs, while soft, removable pads make it easy to freshen up after a big day out.
A removable visor with break-away function, integrated bug mesh and ABUS’s MTB-specific adjustment system round off the overall package.

Suitable for 18 months and up, the ABUS YouDrop Full Face Helmet is designed to give young riders extra protection as they build confidence on the bike.
With full-face coverage, a secure fit, and a lightweight design, it’s ideal for balance bike adventures, early MTB sessions, and growing kids who are starting to ride with more independence.

An EPS inner liner is foamed directly into the polycarbonate (PC) outer shell, creating a durable and robust connection that protects little riders from impact.

The chin guard can be detached for flexible use of the helmet – with or without full-face protection – so the helmet grows with your child's riding style.
Zoom™ Spin adjustment system
Zoom™ Spin adjustment system
A rotary wheel at the back of the head dials in the perfect fit, so the helmet stays secure as your child grows.
Ponytail fit
Ponytail fit
Thanks to the opening in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids.
Comfort pads – removable & washable
Comfort pads – removable & washable
Soft padded inserts attach to the helmet with Velcro for optimum comfort. They can be removed and washed by hand, or replaced if required.
Velcro fastening peak
Velcro fastening peak
The peak shields little eyes from sunlight and hanging branches. Attached with Velcro, it can be removed and detaches automatically in the event of a fall to minimise strain on the neck.
Push-in buckle
Push-in buckle
A classic chin lock with a three-pronged push-in buckle is safe, easy to operate, and a breeze to fasten and release with one hand.

Fit & sizing
Designed for head circumferences of 48–55cm. Use the Zoom™ Spin dial at the back of the helmet to fine-tune the fit, and the height-adjustable system to position the cradle correctly. The opening in the cradle accommodates ponytails, buns and braids.
Care
Comfort pads are removable and can be hand washed with mild soap, then air dried out of direct sunlight. Wipe the shell with a damp cloth – avoid solvents, petroleum-based cleaners or harsh detergents that can compromise the EPS liner.
