DESCRIPTION

The Dirt Hero off-road balance bike is a scaled down enduro machine, designed specifically for MTB kids who want to take to the trails. Off-road pneumatic tires, 12-14” convertibility, mtb geometry and a rear hydraulic disc brake inspires confidence and progression in mini mountain bikers who want to get off the driveway and onto the dirt.

For kids 2-5 years

The Dirt Hero is designed for kids aged 2-5 years with a minimum suggested inseam of 337mm / 13.3".

The Dirt Hero takes 12” and 14” wheel sizes – growing alongside your little shredder.

Grippy & shock absorbing tyres

2.25” Vee Tire Crown Gem pneumatic tyres, significantly increase grip and cushioning over bumps, for a smoother ride.

Easy reach brake lever

The Magura HC1 brake lever has some of the best reach adjustment on the market – making it easy for little hands to operate.

Braking powered by Magura

Providing more braking power & requiring less hand strength to use than v brakes – the Dirt Hero features a Magura MT4 hydraulic rear disc brake with the world’s first child safe rotor guard.

          Simply adjustable and powerful. Easy to reach with small tiny hans. I’m not sure if our little one needs such a powerful brake at 15 months 😂 but it simply looks great and it will definitely come in handy in the spring when she gets bigger 🚴💨

          Would buy again

          Cost is high but the brake kit is dialed. The hose comes cut to perfect length and is pre bled, the rotor cover is a MUST with toddlers. I have seen one of these bikes with a “custom” shimano brake, the lever was too far too reach, and the rotor was super sketchy for small ones. Would buy this again.

        Transitioning from 12” to 14”, instead of rushing to a 16” pedal bike, gives your little one more time to develop key skills and build a love for riding off-road - so when that next step comes, they'll be ready for it with skills like braking already under their belt.

        MTB TYRES FOR MTB KIDS

        Pneumatic mtb tyres are essential for off-road riding. The air filled tyres with deep tread significantly increase grip, giving your little one the confidence they need to tackle the trails. Air filled tyres also act as suspension, dampening bumps and roots along the way for a smoother ride.

        THE PERFECT BRAKE FOR BALANCE BIKES

        Learning to brake before peddling is an important step in a kids mtb journey, and we believe that hydraulic disc brakes are the best option for balance bikes.

        Not only do they provide more power, but require far less hand strength to operate than V brakes, making them ideal for little hands. We’ve also created the world’s first child safe rotor guard, for parent's peace of mind.

        EASY REACH BRAKE LEVER

        The Magura HC1 brake lever has some of the best reach adjustment on the market – meaning you can set the lever much closer to the handlebars than other brakes, a critical factor in usability for small hands with limited reach.
