ONE SEAT, TWO SETUPS, FOUR YEARS OF ADVENTURE
The Pro EVO is 2 seats in 1.
It transforms from the harnessed seat for 9 months - 2 years, into the Pro seat for ages 2 - 5.
No upgrades, no fuss, no hassle — just one seat built to grow with your child and your adventures.

DESIGNED FOR MOUNTAIN BIKES
Most child seats weren’t built for mountain bikes. The Pro EVO is.
It's game changing level of adjustability means no more restricted turning, frame contact, or bulky adapters. Just a seat that integrates with your bike, not interferes with it.

WILL IT FIT MY BIKE?
There's 4 key things to check your bike has:
1. A standard 1 1/8” steerer tube
2. At least 10mm of headset space
3. At least 14mm of seat post space
4. Front suspension
Specifications
Age / weight
The Shotgun Pro EVO has 2 configurations, with different weight limits and age recommendations.
PRO HARNESSED SEAT
Suitable for children weighing 9 - 15kg (recommended age 9 months - 2 years).
Before using the harnessed seat we recommend your child can support the weight of their own head. For kids under 1 year please consult a pediatrician before use.
PRO SEAT
Suitable for children weighing 12 - 27kg (recommended age 2 - 5 years).
Before using the Pro seat we recommend your child can sit unaided, follow basic instructions and stay awake for the length of your intended bike ride.
Bike fitment / installation
The Shotgun Pro EVO fits almost all modern regular and electric mountain bikes with a standard 1 1/8th steerer and 10mm of clearance under the stem.
Adaptors for bikes with integrated cables that pass through the bike's headset spacers, or proprietary headsets like Trek Knock Block, are available separately.
We do not recommend the Pro EVO for bikes without front suspension, such as road bikes or beach cruisers, due to the lack of clearance between the child’s feet and the bike’s front wheel.
The Shotgun Pro handlebars fit 31.8 or 35mm handlebar diameters, and stems up to 60mm wide.
Safety standards
The Shotgun Pro EVO meets EN 14344 and ASTM F3641 safety standards for front-mounted child bike seats.
The Pro EVO also undergoes independent quality inspections from TUV.
What's in the box
- Shotgun Pro EVO 2-in-1 child bike seat
- Shotgun Pro Handlebars
- Tools
- Quick Start Guide
- Stickers & temporary tattoos for the kids (or you).
FAQ
Q: Can i buy the harnessed seat separately to use on an older Pro seat?
A: Unfortunately not. The Pro EVO features a re-engineered version of the Pro (nicknamed GEN 2) that enables the 2-in-1 functionality. Previous versions of the Pro aren't compatible with the harnessed seat - sorry guys!
Q: Can I buy the Pro EVO without the Pro handlebars?
A: No. The Pro EVO is certified to ASTM safety standards, and the Pro handlebars are part of that setup. We’re working toward a safer future for child bike seats – and ensuring new products align to standards is an important step.

We absolutely love the evo / was perfect fit for our little boy Loki and he felt right at home as soon as he was in the seat. We are stoked that we can ride with him on a seat that suits everyone’s needs. Also doesn’t touch our bike frames which we love. This seat is well thought out.

The Shotgun Pro Evo represents the next evolution in kids' bike seats - I guess that what the KRS team were going for! The Evo offers impressive adaptability that grows with your child, with the ability to transform as your little one grows, eliminating the need to accumulate multiple seat options in your shed as they outgrow each stage – and we all know kids never stop growing!
My favorite feature of the new Evo seat is how safe and secure children feel when seated. I've really put this seat through its paces, and it delivers consistently. In "little kid" mode, the soft padded column is excellent – easy for small hands to grip and gentle enough to ensure safety during rides. When switched to "bigger kid" mode, the shaped seat design effectively keeps learning riders positioned correctly.
The versatility of this seat means I literally won't need to purchase another kids' seat as my child grows. It's a smart investment that adapts rather than becomes obsolete, making it both practical and economical for growing families.
If you are wanting your kids to get hooked on the STOKE of riding bikes - this is the product for you!
Hours of wholesome family fun.
